Soledad et Ricky appartiennent à la génération du Nuevo Tango sans pour autant s'éloigner du tango traditionnel. Leur danse se base sur l'improvisation, la sensualité, l'énergie et la musicalité qu'ils transmettent dans leurs présentations.

Jorge Torres  est un " milonguero".  Son  talent et son style le placent parmi les chorégraphes et danseurs exceptionnels de tango argentin. Il a dansé dans les grandes maisons de tango et les théâtres les plus remarquables de l'Argentine.  Il a participé à plusieurs grands spectacles de tango tel que Forever Tango et participe à plusieurs tournées internationales.

JORGE TORRES

VIRGINIA & CRISTIAN

Virginia et Cristian débutent très jeunes leurs études en danse. Depuis 1993 , ils se perfectionnent auprès de grands maîtres tels que Pepito Avellaneda.  En 1999, ils participent à la tournée japonaise de l’orchestre de Beba Pugliese.  Ils accompagnent également des orchestres prestigieux.  Depuis 2006, ils participent à la tournée de Forever Tango et à plusieurs tournées internationales.

Elle débute sa carrière en tango argentin à Montréal en 1996. Titulaire d'un baccalauréat en théâtre de l'Université Concordia, elle se perfectionne en Argentine et se consacre à l'enseignement et au spectacle. Avec sa compagnie Air de Tango, elle organise plusieurs cours et ateliers à Montréal et les alentours.

NADINE & GERARDO

Nadine Jabbour découvre le monde de la musique et de la danse très jeune. Son amour pour la danse la pousse à découvrir le tango argentin sous la surveillance de ses deux initiateurs et formateurs, Agata Jakubczyk et Gerardo Sanchez. Elle fait partie de l'équipe permanente de Tango Libre.

Gerardo Sanchez est professeur et chorégraphe chez Tango Libre. Il dirige l'École et la Compagnie de Danse. Il est reconnu pour sa pédagogie et la richesse de son enseignement. Détenteur d'un BAc en Théâtre, il a complété sa Maîtrise en Art Dramatique à l'UQAM.

Aurora Lubiz is a star amongst Argentinian Tango dancers. She has toured around the world with renowned tango productions and orchestras. With her new partner, Hugo Daniel, they form a team of excellent teachers and dancers of growing reputation.








Internationally renowned dancers and teachers, Pablo and Valeria are one of the most solid and attractive couples among the new generation of tango dancers. With a sweeping energy and an imposing stage presence, their charisma and sensuality stand out in all their shows.

VILMA & FERNANDO

When Fernando and Vilma dance tango, they feel the ground - for them a fundamental principle for life and dance. Although this may seem obvious, “to have a firm hold of the ground” is a far cry from simply walking on it.
Fernando and Vilma, are touring around the world for more than ten years. Trained in folklore, classical and modern dance, they received their tango training from the greatest masters and take their inspiration in the milongueros style of the Fifties. They performed with great orchestras such as Sexteto Mayor, Color Tango, Los Reyes del Tango, El Arranque and Sexteto Canyengue. They participated to numerous festivals, gave workshops, seminars and performances in more than 30 cities.

AGATA& GERARDO

Agata Jakubczyk and Gerardo Sanchez are teachers and choreographers at Tango Libre as well as the directors of the dance company and the school. They are known for the quality of their teaching, their thorough knowledge of tango and the high standard they set in their classes. They were invited to teach in Europe. Together, they have choreographed shows such as Sens, produce by the company, and the dance part of the Quartango presentation at Festival de Lanaudiere.

Marisol and Alejandro teach and perform in two renowned milongas in Buenos Aires : La Viruta and Club Gricel. They belong to the Nuevo Tango generation. They have also taught and performed in Montreal at Tango Libre.

DANA & PABLO

Since 1999, Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frigoli have combined life experiences in order to create a shared artistic path. Today, they are furthering an innovative artistic expression which is very much their own. Having an all-rounded training as a starting point, they were able to consolidate their respective experiences in different but first class dance companies, and to expand successfully in other domains such as cinema and television.

Eduardo Cappussi and Mariana Flores are among the best regarded, creative and expressive dancers from Buenos Aires. Teaching and performing since 1997, they have been featured in most of the european tango festivals and top tango events.
Their choreographic composition shines because of the excellent use of theater elements, with very personal and unique style, electrifying and unpredictable. Their style is born in the reality of improvisation where the tango is born, grows and becomes impossible to stop : they represent the spirit of the people.

They have perfomed and taught in numerous shows,festivals and workshops inJapan,U.S.A., Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and Latin America.
Aurora and Jorge are Art Directors of the World Tango Festival,which take place every year in Buenos Aires, in October.

Together, the two have choreographed several film and television productions. Gerardo has been the director of Tango Libre Dance Company since he first founded it in 1993. He has directed and choreographed a myriad of shows including Amurado and Discepolin. He also created the choreographies for the Quartango show at the Festival de Lanaudiere. The company's most recent show, Sens, was co-created by Gerardo and Agata.

They started dancing Tango with the famous Francisco Canaro Orchestra, and have conquered audiences from all over the world.

From 1985 to 1995 they were acclaimed in Central America, Europe, Japan, and the United States with the show TANGO ARGENTINO, and in 1990 with FOREVER TANGO.

Legendary masters, choreographers and dancers, Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau shine year after year in various shows and festivals.
